Target electronics department hit hard

A Special Crime Alert has been issued after the Target store near Cinco Ranch has fallen prey to electronic thieves.
According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, there have been two substantial electronics thefts from the Target Department Store in the 23700 block of Westheimer Parkway.
On two separate occasions suspects have gone into the Target store loaded up in the electronics department and walked out the front door. Haenel said the first incident occurred about 5 p.m. on Friday, July 27, and again on Sunday, July 29, 2012. In both cases the suspect loaded up a basket with DVD’s and left the store without paying for the merchandise. In the second case he took even more DVD’s that the first time.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’11″, and weighs about 165 pounds. He appears to be in his late teens or 20s.
All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
