By LeaAnne Klentzman

A Sugar Land family is recovering from a night of terror after they fell victim to the latest home invasion robbers.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday night, September 24, a resident at a home on Baldwin Crossing answered a knock at the front door. Reportedly, those standing at the front door
purported themselves to be pizza delivery. When the door was opened the intruders forced their way into the home wielding pistols.

During their initial intrusion, a woman in the home was beaten in the head. According to police, her injuries were not life threatening, however she was transported to a Houston hospital for treatment. At press time she was still in the hospital.

According to police when the call was initially reported, the intruders had been gone for some 30 minutes or more. During the intrusion the suspects took televisions, cash, jewelry, phones, and the family’s 2003 Toyota Camry. The family has business interests in the metro Houston area.

At press time the only description of the suspects were that they were believed to be 4 black males with bandanas covering their faces, armed with handguns, driving a silver Toyota.

Anyone with information about this case or any others is asked to contact the Sugar Land police department at 281-275-2500.
