A Funeral Mass will be held for Refugia Gomez Martinez, 94, of Sugar Land, Texas at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Catholic Church, Sugar Land, Texas. Interment will follow at San Gabriel Cemetery in Richmond. Reverend Stephen B. Reynolds will officiate the services.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2012 with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.
Refugia was born July 5, 1918 in Rosenberg. She passed away September 19, 2012 in Sugar Land.
She is preceded in death by her father, Refugio Gomez; and her two husbands, Melchor Pena and Frank Martinez.
Refugia is survived by her children, Thomas Pena, Lupe Pena and John Pena and wife, Veronica; 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
