Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who recently robbed the Walgreen’s pharmacy on Westheimer Parkway.
According to sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, Friday, September 21, around 1:10 in the afternoon a man walked into Walgreen’s in the 22200 block of Westheimer Parkway handed the clerk a note demanding specific drugs. According to Haenel, “The note included a threat if the demand was not met.”
Crisis was averted when the pharmacist handed the man an undisclosed amount of Oxycontin. He took the pills and left the store without further demands.
The suspect was described as a white male about 6′, weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, an off-white long-sleeved pullover shirt and sunglasses with what appeared to be white or silver frames. The car he is believed to have left the parking lot in was described as a dark colored, small model Hummer.
