Six candidates vying for 2012 Fort Bend County Fair Queen

Six lovely young ladies will be competing in the 2012 Fort Bend County Fair Queens Scholarship Contest.

The candidates are:

• Kasey-Lane Bronsell of Richmond, Daughter of Connie & Bill Bronsell, Foster High School.
• Heather Grant of Richmond Daughter of Sheryl & Marc Grant, William B. Travis High School.
• Ashley Hoover of Richmond, Daughter of Dina Hoover, George Ranch High School.
• Ashley Mays of Richmond Daughter of Lisa & Tim Mays, Foster High School.
• Starr Swanson of Fulshear Daughter of Kat & Les Swanson, Homeschool.
• Baylee Womble of Needville Daughter of Angie & Russell Womble, Needville High School.

These contestants have been working hard since July 29. They competed in the Style Show and Interview portions of the contest on August 17 and have been selling tickets all over the county for the final portion of the competition.

The Queens Coronation will be held on Friday, September 28 at 6:00 pm in Building D. So be sure to come out and see who will be crowned the 2012 Fort Bend County Fair Queen!
