Create decorative 3-D Stars at library program
Learn how to create handmade, 3-dimensional, decorative stars at a special program “Crafting: 3-D Stars” on Tuesday, October 23, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Small Meeting Room, University Branch Library, 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, on the UH campus.
Deeba Rehman, a member of the library’s Adult Services department, will demonstrate how to make versatile, 3-dimensional decorative stars out of cardstock or construction paper. These stars can be transformed into lanterns, photo displays, and much more.
The class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “University Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-5100, or by visiting the library.
