Inaugural rock-n-roll weekend at Constellation Field set for October

Featuring REO Speedwagon & ZZ Top

Constellation Field will transition into another exciting phase of operations, by converting Sugar Land’s tremendous, new baseball facility, into a spectacular live concert venue capable of hosting the nation’s best live entertainment. Featuring a state of the art staging system in center field, plus additional seating on the field, Constellation Field will host an all-star weekend lineup featuring REO Speedwagon and Night Ranger on October 19, plus ZZ Top and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on October 20th.

The Skeeters have entered into a multi-year agreement with ACE Theatrical Group, a leading promoter of musical concerts, to be the exclusive presenter of concerts at the team’s new home.

“In announcing this partnership and these shows, we are bringing the community of Sugar Land and the Houston metropolitan region, top tier national entertainment in a beautiful outdoor venue” said Matt O’Brien, President of the Sugar Land Skeeters. “We have been committed from day one to show the versatility of this great venue, providing not only great family baseball, but also offering other great entertainment options to our fans and our community”.

Tickets for both REO Speedwagon ($40.00, $50.00 & $60.00) and ZZ Top ($40.00, $50.00 & $60.00) will go on sale on Thursday August 30 at all Ticketmaster outlets, the box office at Constellation Field, online at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800.745.3000. All tickets subject to applicable service charges and fees.

The shows will be performed rain or shine. Skeeters skybox holders will receive tickets as part of their membership program and season ticket holders will have priority purchasing opportunities. Full concessions services will be available at the stadium. Information regarding directions and parking are available at www.sugarlandskeeters.com.
