Lexington Creek Lion Custodial/Cafeteria Excellence Day held

When the first bell of the 2012-13 school year sounded, the students and staff of Lexington Creek Elementary were ready to learn in an attractive and safe environment.  This did not go unnoticed by the PTO Hospitality Chair Bailey Wallace, Principal Mrs. DeFlora, Assistant Principal Dr. Westfall, and the Lexington Creek Elementary PTO.

On September 12, Lexington Creek Elementary launched “Custodial/Cafeteria Staff Excellence Day” with a PTO catered lunch and drawing for a Target gift card for the outstanding custodial/cafeteria team member.

“We appreciate what our team at LCE does. They take care of 600 students on a daily basis and assist in preparing our facility for classroom activities and campus events” said Ms. Wallace.

Custodial/Cafeteria Excellence Day was a huge success! It was well received and the Lexington Creek PTO would like to implement this event throughout the District to recognize all the exemplary custodial/cafeteria teams.
