The Parks Youth Ranch (PYR) Board of Directors and DL Trading are joining forces for an inaugural fundraiser, Cowboy Up 2012. This “ROWDY good time” is scheduled for Saturday, October 20, at The George Ranch Historical Park Arena.
Fort Bend County Judge Bob Hebert and his wife, Pat, have graciously agreed to “strap on their SPURS” for the cause and serve as Honorary Co-Chairs. Also joining the festivities is Michael Garfield, the High-Tech Texan and radio personality. Michael is sure to please the audience with his unique insight as the “event pitchman”. Alongside Michael will be none other than Fort Bend County Commissioner James Patterson who will serve as the Event Auctioneer. We are excited to have such an outpouring of locally grown personalities step up to “take the reins” for our inaugural event.
The unforgettable event will feature live music and dancing to the classic country sound of Kim & Bill Nash from Nash3, event “vittles” will be provided by local BBQ restaurateurs Steve and Ward Onstad & The Swinging Door with all the fixins’, cash bar, live auction and much more.
Here’s a chance to put on your boots and hat, and party with a purpose! General admission tickets are available for $75 each. For more information on sponsorship or general admission tickets, please visit the PYR website at www.parksyouthranch.org
or contact Parks Youth Ranch Executive Director & Cowboy Up Co-Chairman, Shannon Bloesch (smbloesch@parksyouthranch.org) or Cowboy Up Co-Chairman, Kavita Self (kavitaself@gmail.com).
