Ft. Bend Habitat for Humanity joins the “Taste of Sugar Land”
Lee Shelton, chair of the 10th Annual “Taste of Sugar Land”, scheduled for Sunday, October 28 at Safari Texas Ranch, is pleased to announce this year’s partnership with the Fort Bend Habitat for Humanity which will benefit their efforts in our community. They join the partnership team which already includes East Fort
Bend Human Needs Ministry and Fort Bend Family Promise.
“This is a perfect team to work together in behalf of our less fortunate neighbors in Fort Bend County”, says Shelton. “The 10th Annual ‘Taste’ sponsored by Whole Foods of Sugar Land is a natural format and a perfect fit for raising money for needy projects, and hosting a great evening for those who attend. Some 20 of our best area restaurants will provide the non-stop tastings, beginning with appetizers from our generous
host, Safari Texas Ranch. Entertainment will be provided by the country blue-grass group “Texas Sky”, and our fabulous auctions – live and silent – will be first stop holiday shopping with gifts galore”, says Shelton.
You are invited to attend the best ‘bargain’ in the county and help make a better holiday season for your less fortunate neighbors. Tickets are $25 per person, and are available by calling 281-240-3195. Tickets will also be available at the door.
The fun starts with appetizers and entertainment at 4 – 5pm, and an auction preview, and at 5pm promptly, the doors swing open to the 10th Annual “Taste” – sharing its bounty for the last decade.
