Lamar CISD secretaries association holding baked-goods fundraiser

Reading Junior High’s Stephany Davis and George Junior High’s Veronica Chavarria are among the many members of LCESA that are ready to sell you a Butter Braid.
The Lamar Consolidated Educational Secretaries Association (LCESA) is selling Butter Braids to raise funds for scholarships and other programs that benefit the students and staff at Lamar CISD.
LCESA will offer four $500 scholarships to deserving LCISD students this school year.
“LCESA is proud of our contributions to the community and scholarships we provide” said Cheryl McGill, LCESA president and school secretary at Wertheimer Middle School. “The annual Butter Braid fundraiser helps support our budget so that we are able to do these things.”
Orders will be taken until November 1 from any LCESA member. The ready-to-bake goodies will be delivered before the Thanksgiving break.
