Library offers free intro computer classes

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Adult Services staff at Sugar Land Branch Library, 550 Eldridge, will present a variety of free, introductory computer classes this month on using computers and the Internet. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these tools.

The “Hands-On Internet” class will take place on Saturday, November 10, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center.
The “Computers 101” class will take place on Thursday, November 29, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center.

The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sugar Land Branch,” and find the program.

Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2140, or by visiting the library.
