George Ranch High School Band takes 2nd in competition

The George Ranch High School Marching Band competed at the Katy ISD Invitational Marching Competition along with 29 other bands and received 2nd place of the 11 4A schools. The band’s percussion also received Best Percussion.  They next competed in UIL receiving all “1’s” for their show “Picture This” which combines classical music from Russian composer Mussorgsky and classic rock from The Who and The Rolling Stones.
