The golfing ladies of Quail Valley have again exceeded their fund raising goal for the First Tee of Greater Houston at Quail Valley. This year they will donate $10,620 from their tournament and auction proceeds and along with a $2,000 donation from the Quail Valley Exchange Club, the $12,620 will more than double their prior year’s donations.

These funds will be used to compliment the City of Missouri City, which recently dedicated the former Par 3 golf course at the Quail Valley Golf Club to the First Tee of Greater Houston for their green grass facility.

Most recently the Ladies have developed and cultivated a real passion for the First Tee program. This is driven through the First Tee’s program goals which uses the game of golf as the medium to teach and instill the 9 core values and 9 healthy habits surrounding the game of golf.

The ultimate goal is to provide kids from ages 7 to 18 with the tools needed to be successful as they move into the future.
