Travis Theatrical Company to present George Orwell’s 1984

The Travis High School Theatrical Company will perform 1984, based on the George Orwell novel and directed by Christine Heath.  Performances will be held on November 10, 15, 16 and 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Travis High School auditorium 11111 Harlem Rd., Richmond.

1984 centers around Winston Smith, an Outer Party member of the totalitarian government in control of a third of the world’s population.  Citizens are taught from birth to worship their beloved leader, Big Brother, without question.
