12 Annual Pink on the Green® Golf Tournament

The Julia F. Thompson, Inc. 12th Annual Pink on the Green® Golf Tournament was a magnificent event. On that day nearly two hundred golfers from across the Fort Bend County and surrounding areas gathered for excellent golf, comradeship and the opportunity to support community service by contributing to the success of this endeavor which was hosted by Mu Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Julia F. Thompson, Inc. is an important organization in our community because in its non-profit status a mission of care to all mankind is promoted. Most recently JFT, Inc. donated $5,000.00 to the National Kidney Fund. During the academic year 2012 over $21,000.00 in scholarships were awarded to high graduates, continuing college students and others involved in higher educational pursuits. JFT, Inc. operates under the leadership of President Jacqueline Watson.
The 2012 golf tournament chairperson is Ruthelen Robinson; co-chairperson is Temika Jones while Tara McDowell serves as President of Mu Kappa Omega Chapter. The support and dedication of all who shared in the success of this event is appreciated.
