First Colony Swim Team wins 2012 Gulf Open Water Chamionships

In October, the First Colony Swim Team won the 2012 Gulf Open Water Swimming Chamionships. The swimmers got up early to compete in a lake swim, while fighting off the cold.

First Colony had 4 swimmers win their events: Bryan Pan- 10 & Under 8oo Free, Madison Varisco- 15 & Over 800 Free, Chris Yeager- 13 & 14 2 Mile, and Corey Duke- 15 & Over 2 Mile.

FCST also had 4 swimmers place in the top 3 of their events.  The swimmers helped lead the Men’s Team to a win, the Women’s Team to 2nd place, and a combined team win.
