Man attacked in First Colony Mall restroom

Sugar Land police are looking for a man who attacked another man in a restroom near Designer Perfumes at First Colony Mall on Nov. 5.

A 47-year-old man was at a urinal at 8:40 p.m. when another man beat him unconscious and took his phone. A mall employee found the victim immediately after the incident and called police.  The 47 year old was transported to Methodist Hospital and later released.

Surveillance video shows the victim being followed into the restroom shortly before the attack.  The suspect is seen a short time later leaving the restroom, exiting the mall through a service door and driving away in a two-tone, four-door passenger vehicle.

The man’s attacker was black, 6’1″ to 6’3″ and 30 to 35 years old.  He was wearing a black polo/button-up shirt, black pants and black shoes.
