“The Best is Yet to Come”

While many are still salivating over Tuesday’s big win, others have shed tears, been physically ill, and perhaps still in shock, knowing the wrath we, as a country, will be facing.

Where did our country go wrong? Was it because Romney was not a rock-solid Conservative or that the Left was jealous of Romney’s wealth? Was it because Governor Christie handed Obama a golden photo op or because Romney declared China as a “currency manipulator”? Pundits will debate this for decades.

What Americans do know is that voter suppression has been a bogus manipulator, as Pennsylvania illustrated with the soft rollout of voter ID laws while 13 of the poorest wards in Philadelphia came out and voted 99% for Obama. When are we going to end this pandering to religion, income brackets and the color of one’s skin?

Foreign policy meant nothing to the Obama voters. Not only is the Benghazi debacle the fault of this administration, but two Iranian jets had fired on an unmanned U.S. drone while in (safe) international airspace five days before Election Day and Navy officials confirmed a nuclear Russian sub only a mere 300 miles off the East Coast back in late October.

How do we console the families of the four assassinated victims in Benghazi that a cover-up has occurred under this administration; that CBS waited to release another part of Steve Closs’ interview with Obama until only one day before election but which took place on September 12; and even worse, Petraeus resigned on Friday, only days before his testifying before the hearings beginning on November 15? Petraeus resigned because of an affair that apparently has distorted his memory on Benghazi as to who told him to stand down and now he can’t testify? And why isn’t Boehner—or anyone in Congress—demanding that the State Dept make the Benghazi documents available longer than November 8-9 to senators only while they were still on break?

What do we tell the owners of leased properties in WA and CO that Federal law allows their property to be confiscated because of the growing of marijuana plants while state law has now legalized recreational marijuana? With Border Patrol now rethinking how they’ll address someone coming over the border with marijuana and claiming that they “are heading to WA or CO,” this may now open the floodgates across the entire country to a national crisis.

What do we tell the millions who have come to our country legally and paid $$$ to become citizens and now Republicans are being pushed into the corner to “compromise”—meaning another amnesty—ignorantly thinking that will garner the necessary Hispanic votes next go-round? President Reagan was promised that if he approved an amnesty, the borders would be secure. How did that work out?

So what are some of the consequences with another four years of Obama? In selling a home ($250K or more), the transaction needs to be completed by yearend or Uncle Sam receives a cozy 3.89% investment income tax. We’ll have 20 new Obamacare taxes, $86B in a Medicare payroll tax, $20B in a medical device tax, $65B in an individual employer mandated tax and a Social Security payroll tax. The Bush tax cuts may go away (a mere $80B). As a result of the sequester, $55B will hit at yearend to the Defense Department. This is excluding regulatory policies yet to come. Not only did Congress refuse to work through this fiscal mess the last year but refused to go viral with these devastating figures before the election. As Lou Dobbs said, “What kind of idiots do we have in Washington that would not have already resolved this issue before the election?”

Republicans are now accused of being bitter over the election loss because of the layoffs announced this last week. Liberals still don’t get it. It’s about the irresponsibility in balancing the books. Why then is Obama already reaching out to Romney to meet with him to talk about economic strategies—the same evil man who ran Bain Capital? It’s more political theater.

And only a mere two days after the election, the U.S. backed the new UN Arms Trade Treaty talks.

There is the potential of Supreme Court Justices Ginsburg, Scalia and Kennedy retiring over the next four years. If that happens under Obama’s watch, the discussion on abortion is over.

Will the necessary voter ID laws be put in place? Will our borders be secured? Will Congress “compromise” that if we’re forced to pay for contraceptives, then we shouldn’t have to pay for welfare benefits? Will Congress take ALL free benefits away from illegals living inside our borders? Will the House have the courage to defund Obamacare and close the purse strings? As important: Will Congress pass term limits? Will Congress begin fixing our fiscal crisis by taking away their lifetime pensions and cutting their salaries? Do Republicans have the courage to put forth a strong leader, a tough negotiator and rid us of Boehner?

One thing we can be assured going forward, Obama was right, “The best is yet to come.” This man is only beginning.

So what do we buy for Christmas for our family, friends and relatives? Yes, I said it: Christmas. The biggest and brightest American flag from Stafford’s very own local vendor—Lone Star Banners And Flags—a membership to the NRA to fight the UN Arms Trade Treaty talks and all the ammo you can carry to protect your families.

God bless our Vets this week. God bless our great country. God bless Israel.
