Getting a taste of Germany right here in the area

Members of the Fort Bend Chapter of the Texas German Society went out to eat for its annual “eat at a German Restaurant” event. This year King’s Biergarten & Restaurant in Pearland was chosen.  This restaurant was voted as the best German Restaurant in America.  It was a wonderful outing for the group, getting a taste of Germany without leaving Texas. Those attending were: front row:  Frank Strieder, Ora Dell Strieder; middle row:  Irene Bohac, Theresa Schultz, Walter Todd, Juanita Todd; back row:  Loyce Anderson, Winona Luedeke, Evelyn Schmidt, Raymond Schmidt, Rev, Dr. Tom Schwartz, Carol Niemann, Delbert Niemann, and Cathy Hanzik.
