Quail Valley Elementary supports Annual Zombie Dash 5K and 1-Mile Kids Run

Quail Valley Elementary School (QVE) staff and cheerleaders recently took part in the Annual Zombie Dash 5K and 1-Mile Kids Run, sponsored by the Missouri City Police Officers’ Association (MCPOA).
Proceeds from the event support the MCPOA in its efforts to help feed hungry families, provide toys for underprivileged children at Christmas, assist police officers in emergencies, and support area charities throughout the year.
After competing in the 1-Mile Kids Run, three QVE students were named winners. Jose Reyna won first place, Ashley Daniel won third, and Kassidi Davis won fourth. Hightower High School student, Daniel Ward, won second place. They each received gift cards.The MCPOA also awarded prizes for the best costumes.
