A dangerous reaction to a potential deadly situation ends well

Often crime victims are caught so off guard or so fearful for their life they don’t get to react like they would like to. Last week a man shopping in Stafford got in a lick for the good guys.
After shopping at a Stafford store the man returned to his vehicle and found a crook sitting in his driver’s seat looting his truck. Incensed, the truck owner forced the suspect to unload his pockets, he only had $5, so the victim took it as a down payment for the damage he caused by punching the lock on his truck door. It appears that once the two came to an understanding on who the truck belonged to, the owner ordered the crook out of his driver’s seat. The crook fled in a silver Nissan along with two other co-conspirators.
Stafford police took a burglary of a motor vehicle report. The suspect was described as a black male over 6′ tall, in his mid 20’s. He was covered with facial tattoos including under his eyes, on his forehead, and around his mouth.
Anyone with information about this incident or this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
