QV Proud Hotline 12/05/12
CITY SAYS THANK YOU: The first year they asked residents to donate food and nonperishable items to help families in our area who were in need for Thanksgiving that year. They received a LOT more than they ever expected. This year (4th year) thanks to generosity of many people they filled 15 police cars PLUS 11 barrels filled to the brim. We are fortunate to live in a CITY where people care about others, especially in tough economic times.
BEWARE: CITY Communications Department warns that if you are contacted by “American Water Resources”, please be advised that AWR is a public company selling their services and has no affiliation with Missouri City or any other level of government.
SNOWFEST PARADE: This Saturday will feature dozens of colorful floats and trailers decorated in holiday themes. Remember to bring your paper sacks filled with nonperishable items for the East Fort Bend Food Bank and the Tri-City Resale Shop.
“UNDER CONSTRUCTION”: FM 1092 close to Cartwright Road intersection a Senior (over age 55) housing facility. “The Huntington @ Missouri City”.
