Congratulations to Fort Bend Christian Academy teacher Mike Skinner, recipient of the 2012 Houston Baptist University The Guild Sharon Elaine Saunders Endowed Scholarship in Graduate Education. Through their efforts, The Guild has provided the means for energetic, bright, responsible graduate students to experience for themselves the life-shaping, Christ-centered educational excellence that is Houston Baptist.

Skinner is a 2006 graduate of Fort Bend Christian, and a 2010 graduate of Houston Baptist University with a degree in Christianity and Biblical Languages. In addition to teaching freshman bible classes at FBC, Mike is also the lead pastor at First Colony Christian Church.
