The 23rd Annual Meadows Place Christmas Memories in the Park took place on Friday, December 7,during a pleasant, weather-friendly evening. This yearly event is a favorite tradition among residents and visitors from all over.

Activities included hayrides, petting zoo, two snow hills for sliding, and a camp fire area. The snow hills for this year’s event were created by the new man-made recreation hill next to the major’s baseball field. The other slide was placed on a small hill on the lake side, each hill designated for 5 and under and 5 and up.

Of course, the highlight of the evening was the arrival of Santa Claus. Live music was enjoyed from The Emotions, as well as a special performance from Meadows Elementary Choir. Mark McGrath Park was turned into a winter wonderland, kicking off the holiday season and spirits.
