Teen kidnapped from local church

A Special Crime Alert has been issued by Crime Stoppers for information on three men involved in the kidnapping of a 13 year old girl from a Sugar Land church.

Late Monday afternoon Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel said, “Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subjects involved in an Aggravated Kidnapping case in the Sugar Land area.”

Haenel said on December 9, 2012 at about 7:30 Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 2200 block of Mason Road near West Airport just outside of the city of Sugar Land where a 13-year-old kidnapping victim had been found. The youngster told deputies she had been at her nearby church in the 2500 block of Eldridge Road near the Barrington Place subdivision when three Hispanic males in a red truck stopped and forced her into the truck. Haenel said the girl said she was fighting the kidnappers and eventually they threw her out of the moving truck on rural Mason Road when she was discovered by a passing motorist who called 911.

The teen was transported by air ambulance to Memorial Hermann – The Medical Center.

The teen was able to describe two of the three attackers, she told authorities she never got a good look at the driver; however she was able to provide enough information on the other two to lead to these police sketches. Both suspects are described as Hispanic males, one about 5’9″, thin, with wavy bleach-blond hair and a nose piercing. The second kidnapper was about 5’7”, thin, with dark hair, a mustache and a goatee.

The suspect vehicle was described as a red Ford, four-door truck with tinted windows.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000. Call Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office at 281-341-4665, Fort Bend Crime Stoppers, Inc. at 281-342-TIPS (8477) or text plus the tip to CRIMES (274637).
