Fishers of Men Lutheran Church Sugar Land to hold Christmas Eve Services

Fishers Of Men Lutheran Church, Sugar Land, is offering three Christmas Eve services this Monday, December 24, 2012.  Traditional services with communion, candlelight singing of “Silent Night” and beloved Christmas carols will be accompanied by brass, choir, and other musicians at 7pm and 9pm.

Fishers Of Men is also holding a brief Children’s Christmas Service which is aims to make Christmas real, fun, and memorable for children 6 and under and their families.  ”This service is one of our favorites,” Pastor Jerry McNamara explained.  ”We offer lots of actions, fun songs, jingle bells, and even fireworks–actually it’s bubble-wrap, but the kids love the fun.”

“Parents and grandparents get a kick out of it, too,” Pastor McNamara shared with a chuckle.  ”It is Christmas at a child’s level with sights, sounds, songs and actions all planned to make the message of Christmas real to them.  We conclude by singing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus and enjoy birthday cake together.”

Fishers Of Men Lutheran Church calls it “The 25-minute Christmas tradition your whole family will love!”

Fishers Of Men Lutheran Church and Little Fishers Preschool are located at 2011 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land, Texas, just one-half mile from First Colony Mall.
