Clements High School NNDCC cadets held it’s annual inspection
The William P. Clements High School NNDCC Cadets held their Annual Military Inspection (AMI) on December 5.
The cadets were evaluated on Personal Appearance, Drill Demonstration, Supply Accountability, Administration Accuracy, and School Support. In addition, the armed and unarmed drill teams performed. Inspecting Officer Commander Mike Hale, Area-10 Manager, presented Circle 10-Personal Appearance Medals to Cadets: Helen Bamgbala, Aaron Buhana, Regina Chen, Sammie Chen, Jackson Cox, Taylor Holmes, William Moen, and Michael Torregosa. These cadets were recognized because of their recruiting post appearance and course knowledge.
This AMI carried more weight than previous inspections. Clements has made a request, through the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (ASN), for reestablishment as a Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. The three underlining criteria for reestablishment are: meet minimum enrollment requirements, have 2 certified instructors, and have a successful AMI, and the Unit has met those requirements.
The cadets were determined to demonstrate to the ASN that their Unit is worthy of reestablishment, and they are ready to be great ambassadors for the Navy.
