January is National Mentoring Month – become a FBISD Mentor

January is National Mentoring Month and Fort Bend ISD is recruiting volunteer mentors to meet with students from all grade levels for 30 minutes to one hour each week. Individuals who have a desire to help students be successful and reach their full potential in the classroom are invited to join the program.

No experience necessary, just an ability to offer friendship, guidance and encouragement to a young person. If you are interested you are invited to attend a one hour training and information session on January 9, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., in the Board Room at the FBISD Administration Building, 16431 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land.
