A series on aging offered at First United Methodist Church Missouri City

Do you or someone you love need more information about healthcare for the elderly? If so, join us for “Navigating the Healthcare Highway”, an educational program presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in conjunction with First United Methodist Church Missouri City’s Congregational and Community Health Ministry. This three part event will take place Wednesday, January 9, 16, and 23 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Missouri City.

This program features three 2-hour sessions: “Lifestyle & Medications” on January 9, “ABCDs of Medicare” on January 16 and “Normal Aging vs. Alzheimer’s” on January 23. Please join us for one or for all. The objective for this series is to provide the knowledge and tools for participants of the series to obtain, process and understand basic health information and services needed to make appropriate health decisions.

Call 281-499-3502 to RSVP or online at www.fumcmc.org/content.php?id=137. Registration is only $10 and covers all three sessions. For more information, contact Jeanelle Fisher at 281-499-3502.
