First Colony Branch Library offers intro computer classes
Adult Services staff at the First Colony Branch Library, 2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land, will present an introduction to using computers and the Internet this month. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about computers.
The “Computers 101” class will take place on Tuesday, January 15, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Conference Room. This class presents a basic introduction to using computers.
The “Hands-On Internet” class will take place on Tuesday, January 29, beginning at 10:15 am in the Conference Room. Learn the basics of navigating the World Wide Web.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “First Colony Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2800, or by visiting the library.
