John Lennon and Me returns to Fort Bend Theatre Jan. 5

Sally (Kylie Curtis) tries to convince Star (Danielle Troiano) to share her room at Heart House, a place for sick kids. “I’m stuck in 1A with some asthmatic kid who talks out loud to her Barbies” says Sally.

Fort Bend Theatre’s Action Reaction Troupe will be presenting two encore performances of John Lennon and Me January 5 at 4:00pm and 8:00pm.

John Lennon and Me is the story of Stella, aka Star, a spunky teenager who is a die-hard John Lennon fan. She has cystic fibrosis, and spends much of her time in Heart House, a hospital for chronically ill children. She gets a roommate named Courtney, a pretty cheerleader who doesn’t seem to be very sick. Star doesn’t think they have much in common, but eventually they come to understand each other, and ultimately, themselves. John Lennon and Me is a national award winning play that celebrates love, friendship, humor and imagination.

Tickets are $9 and are available on the FBT website www.fortbendtheatre.com. Don’t miss your chance because John Lennon and Me is here for one day only! For more information, please call 281-208-3333.
