QV Proud Holtine 01/02/13

UPDATE EL DORADO WATERFALLS. It appears that the waterfalls have to be redesigned. The QV FUND HOA is reviewing proposed alternate repairs and a change in the design. They should know more by the end of January.

LAKE OLYMPIA ENTRANCE DOESN’T HAVE THIS PROBLEM. This entrance design has “fountains”, whereas, El Dorado entrance has “waterfalls”. A major difference.

LEAVING TOWN? Go on line at City web site: http://www.missouricitytx.gov/forms.aspx?FID=65 and fill out a form which will allow Police officers to check your home each day. The officer will walk the perimeter of your house (if back yard gates are not locked). Each outside door will be checked to make sure they are locked. If possible they will look inside each window to make sure nothing appears to be suspicious. When you return home you will receive a copy of their daily reports.

QVFUND HOA INSPECTION: HOA director and City Code Enforcer rode the cart paths to inspect backyards adjacent to the golf course for compliance.

UPDATE ON EL DORADO BRIDGE REPLACEMENT: On schedule with construction possibly completed in the February/March time frame.

NEW GOLF CART BARN: City is currently reviewing bids on construction of the “new” cart barn. The location will be behind the new City Centre @ Quail Valley in the north corner of the newly paved area. It will NOT block the view of the golf course from inside windows.

LOOKING TO RECYCLE OLD ELECTRONICS? Some local businesses to contact: Radio Shack, Target, Office Depot, Cartridge World, Best Buy. Additional “contact” Information: www.missouricitytx.gov OR watch Missouri City Television (Channel 16 on Comcast and Channel 99 on AT&T U-verse).

OOPS: County Dog Park NOT open yet: County Commissioner, Grady Prestage said all they have left to do is hook up the water for use in the dog park. (like in the dog ponds). Watch local papers for the announcement of the OPENING. SHOULD BE IN JANUARY 2, 2013.
