Sugar Land Branch Library hosts intro computer classses
Fort Bend County Libraries’ Adult Services staff at Sugar Land Branch Library, 550 Eldridge, will present a variety of free, introductory computer classes this month on using computers and Microsoft Word. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these tools.
The “Computers 101” class will take place on Saturday, January 12, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center.
The “MS Word Survival Basics” class will take place on Thursday, January 17, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sugar Land Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2140, or by visiting the library.
