Sugar Creek Assoc. begins new year with Journey to Paris in the 1920’s

Busy planning for Sugar Creek Women’s Association’s “Midnight in Paris”  scheduled for Jan. 26 are (left to right) Bonnie Steidley, SCWA President Marilyn Davis and Annette Deitch.

Sugar Creek Women’s Association begins 2013 with “Midnight in Paris” on Saturday, January 26 at Sugar Creek Country Club.

The evening features a tribute to the City of Lights with live entertainment highlighting music from Paris in the 1920s and a special four-course dinner.  The club’s ballroom will be turned into a French bistro as chanteuse Deborah Boily sings cabaret style of the great Edith Piaf.  Deborah also will entertain with other songs of the 1920’s, including Cole Porter tunes.

The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres at 7:00 p.m. at Sugar Creek Country Club, 420 Sugar Creek Blvd. in Sugar Land.
