Intro computer classes offered at First Colony Branch Library
First Colony Branch Library, 2121 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land, will present an introduction to using email and Microsoft Publisher this month. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about computers.
The “How to Set Up a Free Email Account on the Internet” will be Thursday, February 7, 10:00 am, Conference Room. The “MS Publisher Survival Basics” class Thursday, February 21, 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Learn the basics of using Microsoft Publisher, which can be used to create brochures, newsletters, flyers, and more.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “First Colony Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2800, or by visiting the library.
