Seventh Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $85,785 benefiting local charities

Parks Youth Ranch located in Richmond, Texas was one of eight charities benefiting from the 2012 tournament and received a donation of $5,147. Parks Youth Ranch’s mission is to provide emergency shelter, counseling and life changing services to at-risk and homeless youth. Referrals come from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department or the community and clients can make use of the onsite counseling center or the temporary 90-day shelter facility. The ranch serves ages 7-17 and aims to help secure permanency, stability, safety and emotional well being for its clients.
Also benefiting from the tournament was the Cossaboom Family YMCA, the East End Chamber Education Foundation, Precinct2gether, each located in Houston’s East End; The Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education and Recreation Center, in Baytown, Texas; The Estelle and Allen Fetters Center, in Groves, Texas; Julie Rogers “Gift of Life”, in Beaumont, Texas; Parks Youth Ranch, in Richmond, Texas; and the HEART Program, in Houston, Texas.
Since the tournament’s inception in 2006, TPC Group has distributed nearly $325,000 in proceeds from this annual event to charitable organizations that are making a noteworthy impact in the lives of those who live and work in the communities where the company operates.
