Radio Shack takes cover

Radio Shack stores across the Houston metropolitan area have recently become the go to place for armed robbers, three local stores have been targets just since the first of the year.
The first Radio Shack armed robbery occurred at a Sugar Land store located at 3221 State Highway 6S on January 2, about 8 p.m. In that case two black men with bandannas covering their faces stormed the store wielding handguns and demanding cash and merchandise.
Sugar Land Police
spokesperson, Doug Adolph, said the suspects displayed a handgun then ordered an employee and two customers to a store room. “The employee was told to unlock a storage container containing merchandise. The two men took iPhones from the container and an undisclosed amount of money from the register,” said Adolph. The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a green Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban with 20-inch rims said Adolph.
The suspects were described as black males approximately 5’8″, with slim builds. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and the other had dreadlock-style hair.
The following day, January 3, 2013, at 7:40 p.m., Sugar Land Police again responded to an armed robbery at the same Radio Shack, only this time four black men stormed and robbed the store. In this incident they were wearing blue bandanas covering their faces and grey hooded sweatshirts. In this incident Adolph said, “The men entered the store, approached three employees in a store room, displayed handguns and demanded iPhones from a secured storage container. The men left with iPhones and an undisclosed amount of money from the register. “
He said the suspects were described as: Suspect #1 was 19-24 years old, 5’10”, with brown curly hair, hazel eyes and light brown skin. Suspect #2 was 19-24 years old, 5’11”. Suspect #3 was 19-24 years old, 6’1″ to 6’3″ with a thin build. He was wearing green pajama bottoms and blue boxers. Suspect #4 was 19-24 years old and 5’9″ to 5’11”.
Just days later, January 10, 2013 at about 4:30 in the afternoon, Meadows Place Police responded to an aggravated robbery at the Radio Shack in their city. That robbery occurred at the store located at 11611 W Airport Boulevard when a black male suspect entered the store with a bandanna over his face wielding a pistol.
The armed man forced the three employees into a back room at gunpoint then reached into the register and took the cash.
This suspect was last seen fleeing the area in an older model Ford Mustang.
