Registration—Intimidation—Disarmament—Confiscation

Last week we witnessed inept journalistic behavior with the publication of legal gun permit holders’ names and addresses in both Westchester and Rockland Counties. The 33,614 innocent victims’ safety and privacy were compromised. Perhaps this will shed light on our forefathers’ clear vision and why they wove morality so tightly into our Constitution.

The Left is on a destructive antigun manhunt, pushing for federal control while the Fed refuses to secure our porous southern border. Fast & Furious knowingly sold guns—including assault rifles—across our southern border, still hasn’t come clean while headed up by Biden.

We know that: (1) Clinton’s gun ban proved gun control doesn’t work; (2) No mass killings in our country’s history has ever been conducted by a CHL holder/member of the NRA; (3) More people are killed by clubs and bats than rifles every year; and, (4) Over 95% of all gun crimes are committed with illegally-owned guns.

The Journal News intentionally exploited legal gun permit owners’ personal information, some who have risked putting a lot of very bad people away. This was a malicious act, violating New York case law. What about ones who are trying to protect their privacy, women with Protective Orders or ones who have testified against criminals? The Rockland County Correctional Facility officers already last week were told by some of the incarcerated, “I know your address.”

Justice Jeanine Pirro made the most accurate statement last week: “This elitist left-wing egghead organization that is part of an antigun agenda is now hiding and they are, in essence, the pinnacle of hypocrisy.”

Disarmament is enslavement. The Second Amendment is about an individual’s right to protect one’s self. Our forefathers had the vision to see how invasive our government could become. History has illustrated dictators who have disarmed and then murdered millions.

The divide is rapidly being ramped up by the Left. The disarming of the Second Amendment would be devastating—an Amendment listed second in the Constitution (Jeff Gold, a Liberal attorney, claiming that the First Amendment is more important). The absurdity of how an Amendment aligns in our Constitution is ignorant garble.

The Journal News attempted to sensationalize their story in order to profit. We must not confuse controversy with the motive to hurt/endanger innocent lives. Why then, once the editors’ and writers’ names were published, did the Journal News hire armed guards?

In the meantime, this is another attempt to deflect the debt ceiling discussion with no serious appetite to address Washington’s frivolous spending habits.

I’m still searching for a Liberal who’s willing to put “This is a gun-free home” sign in their yard.

God bless Texas that we have Attorney General Greg Abbott who will tirelessly fight for us in the Federal Courts!
