Henriette Humes to be guest speaker at luncheon

The Sugar Land Christian Women’s Connection will hold its monthly luncheon at the Sweetwater Country Club on Friday, February 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The featured speaker will be Henriette Humes, a former teacher, a fourth-generation rancher and a story writer whose presentation is entitled, “The Antique Cobbler’s Bench.”

The Sugar Land Christian Women’s Connection board, chaired by Jean Stover, is planning an exciting year featuring inspirational and informative speakers for each monthly meeting.

Luncheons are $20 inclusive and complimentary valet parking is available. The Sweetwater Country Club is located at 4400 Palm Royale Blvd. in Sugar Land. Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling (281) 980-9870 or email sw-hou-cwc@juno.com.
