Support the Ridgemont Early Childhood Center in contest
The Ridgemont Early Childhood Center (RMECC) has been selected as a finalist for the Burpee Home Gardens “Grow Anywhere Tour,” which will share healthy food, plants and easy gardening ideas to schools in 25 cities across the country.
If named a winner, the RMECC will be awarded 1,300 pounds of fresh vegetables, 50 plants for the campus and 450 for the community. Representatives from Burpee Home Gardens will also visit the center to share gardening ideas. You can help the center win the contest by voting.
Once on the map, click “E” for Houston, and then vote for Ridgemont. You can also spread the word on Facebook by going to www.facebook.com/Burpee Gardens and asking your friends, family and neighbors to vote for Ridgemont as well.
The voting page will remain open until February 15. You can vote as often as you’d like.
