Man uses stolen credit card at Target
Sugar Land police are looking for a man who used a stolen credit card at Target, 16300 Southwest Freeway, on Nov. 12.
Surveillance video from Target shows a man with three children using the credit card to purchase Apple iPods and Xbox games totaling more than $820.
The credit card was among several cards in a wallet left by accident at McDonalds, 3400 Highway 6, on Nov. 11.
The owner of the wallet said he was at the McDonalds from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. Later that evening, his bank contacted him about a fraudulent debit card charge at a Shell gas station, 1750 Williams Trace Blvd., so he cancelled the card. The bank alerted him the next day that fraudulent credit card charges were attempted at Walmart, 5501 Highway 6, and Target. He then realized his wallet was missing.
Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477). Surveillance video posted at www.sugarlandtx.gov/_blind/creditcardabuse-11-11-12.
