Shown from center (left to right) Stafford Mayor Leonard Scarcella joins Michael Plater, Ph.D., president of Strayer University, and members of Strayer University’s Stafford campus team in celebrating the opening of Strayer University’s new campus in Stafford, Texas on Jan. 30.

Strayer University has just opened a new campus in Stafford at the corner of S. Kirkwood and Highway 59, across from The Fountains.

New to the area, Strayer University is not new to education. Since 1892, when the university was founded as a business college to help people increase their skills and marketability in the work force, Strayer University has since expanded it’s accredited course degree plans to include undergraduate and graduate programs geared for working adults in business administration, accounting, information systems, information technology, education, health services administration, and other programs.

This will be the 9th campus in Texas, but Strayer has over one-hundred campuses nationwide.
