Work’n the odds

By LeaAnne Klentzman

You know those copper steal’n crooks were think’n there was no way that “old” man cop was gonna catch’m.  So, they took flight and ran.  Who’da ever guessed that deputy Dunn would be right on their heels?

Yes, he was…like skin on a sausage!   However, this incident begs many questions … First of all, Really? A sprint’n cop over 30? Wow! Second of all, a sprint’n cop over 30 that refused to stop; one who even played catch and release with the fool before finally nabbing him after a struggle.  Wow! And thirdly…Dear Deputy Dunn – we are proud of your dedication and all, but again, really!?!  The constable issued you a car – run’m down!

Now, all that said, can you just imagine the crook’s thought when he took off running and that 60+ year old deputy was right on his heels, Tom and Jerry ain’t got ‘nuth’n on this. Congrats Deputy Dunn, job well done.

Ya’ gotta love it when crooks overplay their odds.
