Computer classes offered at Missouri City Branch Library

Missouri City Branch Library, 1530 Texas Parkway, will present a variety of free, introductory computer classes this month. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these tools.

The “Computers 101” class will take place on Tuesday, March 5, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Conference Room. The class will be repeated on Wednesday, March 6, beginning at 10:00 am. This class presents a basic introduction to using computers.

The “Hands-On Internet” class will take place on Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Conference Room. The class will be repeated on Wednesday, March 13, beginning at 10:00 am.

The “MS Word Survival Basics” class will take place on Tuesday, March 19, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Conference Room. The class will be repeated on Wednesday, March 20, beginning at 10:00 am.

The “MS PowerPoint Survival Basics” class will take place on Tuesday, March 26, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Conference Room. The class will be repeated on Wednesday, March 27, beginning at 10:00 am.

The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Missouri City Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2100, or by visiting the library.
