Intro computer classes offered at Sienna Branch Library
The Adult Services staff at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sienna Branch Library, 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd in Missouri City, will present a variety of free, introductory computer classes this month. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these computer programs.
“MS PowerPoint Survival Basics” for version 2007 will take place on Wednesday, March 6, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab. Learn how to use this slideshow presentation software program.
The “Computers 101” class will take place on Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab. This class presents a basic introduction to using computers. Learn ways to improve typing skills, and how to use a computer mouse.
“MS PowerPoint: Intermediate” class for version 2007 will take place on Wednesday, March 13, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab. Learn how to use more advanced tools in this slideshow presentation software program.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sienna Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2952, or by visiting the library.
