THEY ARE “ALMOST” THERE: Fort Bend County Park (KITTY HOLLOW) is “just days away” from opening its DOG PARK. (courtesy of Grady Prestage, County Commissioner)
BE ON THE LOOK OUT: If you see a large dog, alone, running the cart paths in Quail Valley, contact Animal Control ASAP and they will try to intersect that dog and get it back to the owners. . (281-403-8700 – ask to speak to a Dispatcher)
WHY ARE THEY RUNNING? It is my understanding that the dog is afraid and probably trying to find the way back home. Therefore, do not attempt to interact with a strange dog. Just alert Animal Control. They are trained to apprehend fearful animals in a way where the animal and the officers are not harmed.
PROTECT YOUR ANIMALS: Some dog owners do not use a lease to walk their dogs. This could put your dog and you in dangerous circumstances, should your dog decide to chase this strange dog.
CITY PARKS NEEDS YOUR OPINIONS: Online “short” Survey. Deadline to participate February 25th. Your input needed for “future” parks Projects.
IF YOU TAKE THE SURVEY: You have an opportunity to win a one-month membership pass to the “new” Rec/Tennis Center in Quail Valley OR grand prize—‘one’ Kindle Fire Tablet.
SUPPORT QUAIL VALLEY PROUD. Help PROUD sponsor QV Projects: Youth Programs, Community Appearance, Community Safety, and Educational Support for Quail Valley Schools. We need your assistance in the form of a tax deductible donation of $25 or more.”
