Resident input needed for future parks projects

Missouri City residents are invited to participate in a parks survey that will help Staff set priorities for the next five to 10 years.

Preserving Missouri City’s pristine parks and planning for future recreational green spaces is a priority for City Council, citizens and staff.

As part of the City’s commitment to parks’ projects, staff is currently reviewing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan to identify areas for growth and development. Resident input is needed for the process, which will help define “priorities for parks, recreation facilities, trails and open spaces for the next five to ten years,” said Larry Foos, Director of Parks & Recreation.

Please click here and provide your feedback via a short survey; answers will remain confidential. The deadline to participate is Feb. 25.

Citizens who respond will qualify to win a one-month membership pass to the new state-of-the art Recreation and Tennis Center at 2701 Cypress Point Dr. (five passes will be awarded) or the grand prize—a Kindle Fire tablet.
