Sugar Land Branch Library presents basic introduction to services

If you haven’t had an opportunity to discover all the things that your Fort Bend County Libraries card can do, now is your chance. The staff of the Sugar Land Branch Library invites newcomers in the area to attend a basic introduction to the library, its online catalog, and all the resources that become available with a library card. The orientation session will take place on Saturday, February 23, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center at the library, located at 550 Eldridge.

Those attending will learn how to access their online library account to reserve items or to renew items already checked out. They will also receive a virtual tour through the library’s website, and will learn how to access the different online services that are available on the website.

The orientation sessions are free and open to the public. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. To register online at the library’s website, click on “calendar,” select “Sugar Land Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2140, or by visiting the library.
