Lamar Consolidated High speech students to compete at state and national level

Four Lamar Consolidated High School students will compete with more than 1,000 students from all over the state at the Texas Forensic Association State Tournament, to be held in Grand Prairie, March 6-9.
Drew Heugel and Jolea Nealy will compete in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Oratory, and Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking. Jonathan Kumar and Ryan Chacko will both compete in Public Forum Debate.
Heugel, Kumar and Hinanshi Patel have all qualified for the National Forensic League Tournament of Champions, May 3-5, in Chicago. All three students will compete in Extemporaneous Speaking.
